Dispusip Promotes HB. Jassin PDS Book Collections to IBF 2019 Visitors

Jakarta Library and Archive Department (Dispusip) participates in 18th Islamic Book Fair (IBF) 2019 event which is held on February 27 - March 3, 2019 at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC), Central Jakarta. It is the biggest Islamic book fair in Asia.

Dispusip uses this chance to promote book collections from HB. Jassin Literary Documentation Center (PDS) and also Jakarta Public Library's book collections and services.

"In our booth, we shows visitors HB. Jassin PDS's old literary collection replicas and digital book collection such as Babad Tanah Jawi script, and other digital literature collection," mentioned Suryanto, Jakarta Dispusip's Library Development and Reading Division Head, Wednesday (2/27).

Dispusip Adds HB Jassin PDS' Literary Book Collection

Through Dispusip participation in this event, he hopes there will be more people to visit and use public libraries facilities in Jakarta.

"We want more people to visit our libraries and make them more interested in reading," he conveyed.
